by Greg McElhatton Comic Book Resources Johns can write peppy, fun comics, so I'm not entirely sure why this one feels so slow. Right now, the over-twenty-years-in-the-making return of Barry Allen feels woefully anti-climactic.

by dclebeau read/RANT If you like what Johns has been doing with Hal Jordan in Green Lantern, odds are you’ll like this Rebirth too. I admit, I enjoyed the book too. I just wish it was a little less heavy-handed in the reinvention of the title character.

After these two issues that have taken a slow burn approach to Barry's return Johns has no excuse but to pick things up and start developing other characters than just Barry.

by Kelson Speed Force As with the previous issue, I liked it when I first read it, but the more I think about it, the more some elements bother me. Isn’t it ironic that Flash: Rebirth seems to be wallowing in death?
